Botulinum toxin type A

BOTOX is a protein known as botulinum toxin type A or botulinum toxin, which is activated on the muscle, inhibiting the transmission of the nervous stimulus and preventing contractures.

Daily facial expressions in response to various emotions such as anger (frowning), joy (wrinkling periocularly), sadness (falling of oral angle), surprise (wrinkling of the forehead) have resulted in the gradual appearance of wrinkles due to the excessive use of the underlying muscle.
Over time, these wrinkles are converted to static resulting in a permanently sad expression, aged and tired appearance of the face.
Botox treatment is a safe application. The procedure takes 15-20 minutes, where fine injections into the glabellar area of the forehead or the eyes immobilize the muscles that cause wrinkles, while over the last years the treatment has also been successfully performed to the vertical wrinkles neck.
Horizontal wrinkles on the forehead, the result of the action of the frontal muscles which raise the eyebrows, is a sign that betrays the age of the person. Following the treatment, you can continue with your daily activities as normal.
Results last around 6-8 months depending on the hyperactivity or (lack) of the facial muscles where the therapy is performed.
